Special Sunday

 

Tis the season of First Holy Communions.  It is such a special time and I am always honored when I am asked to be a lil bird capturing a tiny moment of it.  It was also meaningful because of various life changes and Covid - this was my 1st official work since life was normal.  I couldn't have asked for a more happy 1st session back.  Not only was this young man so sweet, handsome & fun.  I also believe the warm sun was shining down on all the children making a very important sacrament today.  Many happy blessings & congrats to Mr. A and other children today.  Thank You!!

Breezy & Bright

This family has a long line of amazing heart awesomeness.  Their most recent act of such was adopting this fur baby.  You can see that Mr. N is so very happy & looks like he has always been theirs.  This guy was a fabulous new addition to already fun sessions.  Looking forward to more.  {{Hugs}}

Senior Storm

It was a questionable start to the day.  Severe thunderstorm.  Loss of power.  No coffee.  No Makeup.  Alas, the sun came out & this classy guy rocked his senior session.  It was an honor.  Thank you!

Magical May

From Magnolia Magic earlier in the week to the magic of your First Holy Communion.  I was very honored to be asked back for the group capture of this special occasion for my church.  Many blessings to these children & the important people who helped prepare them spiritually as well.

Sunday Special

I was honored to be asked to do the group shot again this year for my church First Holy Communion Day & in the process was set up with this lovely family for their pretty doll.  I can still remember my special day and was happy I could capture some memories that may be dear to her in the future.  It turned out to be a lovely day as well.

Magnolia Magic 2019

This has become a difficult shoot to pull off.  Our 1st 4 years here the magnolia tree was always in it's glory the 3rd week of May.  Last & this year it bloomed early in April and you know the weather for this month.  It's 80, it's snowing, it's 60, it's chilly & rainy.  :p  We were blessed to squeeze in this fresh face this year at the last moment.  While this isn't a capture with the main prop I had the hardest time picking a fave for the blog sneak peek because I loved her in every capture.  I ended up just going with one of the 1st shots which showcases a bit of our weeping cherry tree.  No doubt though that this doll is more beautiful inside & out then any of the blooms that were flowering this day.  Thank you!!!

D Has Gone Country

Happy New Year!  And speaking of such, my Godbaby is turning 1 this month complete with a Wild West birthday theme.  I hope he has an awesome day because he deserves it.  He rocked his session...like he always does of course.  Work is extra fun when I'm allowed to kiss & nibble all over the models.  Lol!  Thanks for being so awesome D!  I love you so much!!  xoxox

Siblings, Sun & Smiles

What a fantastic way to get the weekend started with this great family.  I always have SO much fun with them and always honored to do another session.  It's not just seeing repeat clients loveys get taller.  Even taller than me!  Lol!  But it's the honor and fun of seeing how much their personalities have evolved too.  All them are so articulate, polite, charming, funny.  I felt like I was having amazing conversations with tiny adults.  Their parents are really doing an outstanding job.  I am always honored to capture their happy smiles & their beautiful hearts.  They are truly delightful.  Thank You!!!!

After I shoot a session and enter everything into my digital dark room I have to choose the image for the blog.  This was an easy peazy pick.  Soo soo soo much for me to love about this.  Blue hydrangeas, enamel wear, the vintage Pokey Lil Puppy and... my Godson.  Hey, Jessica Alba - I have found your new organic baby model!  Those melty blue eyes, sweet smile, tiny toes, perfect, perfect dimples and rolls & his skin is dreamy soft.  <>  Can't imagine life without this lil guy.  Just another awesome extension of his amazing & beautiful family.  #Blessed  

Special Sunday

Yesterday I was honored to be asked to capture a group portrait of this years children making their first holy communion for my parish.  It was beautiful weather with beautiful hearts and I was very thankful to be a tiny part of their special day.  

Extra Special

It continues to amaze me how fast babies grow.  My Godson is 3 months old & is crazy handsome just like his brothers.  It is baseball season and a special way to remember his amazing granddad with his personal Cleveland Indians items.   I'm sure his granddad would be so happy with how good Mr. D was for his session.  Love him & this family so much!!!

Mr. Personality

This handsome guys mama bought a gift card 5 years ago & our calendars and the stars finally aligned and I was happy and honored to meet the family.  3 month portraits are an awkward age.  They are not in the sleepy newborn phase and yet they are too new to sit up for poses.  This tiny man did sleepy shots and super happy baby ones as well.  He was also adorably chatty.  Mr. D really seemed like his babble was an intentional convo.  My camera lens & I were all kinds of smitten with him and I had such a fun time with his mom and rest of his family.  He was a fantastic boost of happiness on a very, cold and rainy day in April.

Special Delivery

Please meet my nibblicious Godson - Baby D.  He is not even 24 hours old here in this capture.  I have always been honored to do portraits for this gorgeous family with the most amazing hearts you can ever imagine.  I am still in disbelief that I was asked to be his Godmommy.  As if taking their pictures weren't an honor enough and as if I didn't already love all his family so soo much as well.  My heart over flows.  May Gods love & light bless you & your loved ones forever.  xoxoxoxo
