Friday Fun
So thankful for beautiful hearts we've connected with over the years. Big congratulations to a friend who is a first time mommy to this beautiful doll! Miss O is tiny, strong, smart and very chill. I was completely in awe of her. I've been doing newborns for about 8 years. Since my 2nd child. What I feel is more important than the pose is making it a comfortable & easy experience for mom & baby. I try to make it very calm paced. There is plenty of time for feeding, changing, changing again, posing, resting, burping, etc... Being a mom can be so stressful at times. Besides beautiful portraits I hope I provide mom & baby a great experience. I was thankful to hear her say in a message later, "Today was fun!"

Puppy Adoption Birthday Theme
I am always honored to do Miss O's birthday sessions. She is a beautiful doll who rocks the camera & her mom always comes up with amazing themes for her parties. This year is Puppy Adoption! How sweet is that?! Furry Mr. T was so handsome, but a bit camera shy. It will also be furry Mr. T's 1st birthday this month ( check out his cute scarf! ) & soon to be Miss O's 5th! I was excited to meet one of their furry loves & have another fun time with them.

Special Day
I just took this lil man's baby pictures a couple months ago right?! There were so so many images I could have used for the blog post, but I went with a classic black & white and the one that highlighted the importance of the special day Mr. J will be celebrating next month. He's not just a handsome model, but goodness. He just portrays the youthful sweetness that comes along with making your First Holy Communion. So proud of you & wishing you many, many blessings!

Fall Fun

Another Sunday fun day this Autumn. I was crazy excited & honored to do portraits for the "P" Family. We had spent the 2 days prior at sporting events wearing multiple layers to keep warm & this day was sunshine & nice enough to sport regular fashions. I chose this capture because they are the very first family to use the fireplace mantel of my outdoor studio. This "P" family were naturals at posing with genuine smiles & lots of laughing with each other in between. Seeing them carrying on with each other & doing shots so effortlessly was a fantastic treat. I imagine anyone seeing this capture and thinking, "Hey, they look like a great family!" & you know what? They truly are!! We are very blessed to know them. Thank You!!! {{Hugs}}

The "S" Family Shines
This was one of the biggest family session I've done in a long time. Actually, it was a magnificent honor. The gorgeous matriarch of this family wanted these done & every one of her amazing grandchildren and grandpuppy shined for her. All 20 people, including 10 children & a dog all posed, & all looked at the camera. That is typically hard to do. I know with 3 kids & a dog of my own. These little ones had to do group shots, immediate family shots, sibling shots and while I looked very much forward to this job I anticipated a lot of pausing for the little ones, but everyone just rocked it. Including God with the weather. If pictures could really speak to you this one would absolutely inspire. Thankfully I am honored to know Mr. & Mrs. S & their most awesome children for many years. These are the happy faces & beautiful hearts of a family who has worked so so hard, are dedicated & loyal not just to each other, but to their friends. They exude love & light & I feel blessed to witness that such families exist in today's crazy world. {{Hugs}}

Let Your Dreams Blossom
How do I even begin to write such a special blog post????? When I met this adorable little girl she was my boyfriends niece. Soon after she was my fiance's niece, 9 months after that she was the Flower Girl in our wedding & she became my niece too. Oh good grief...here comes the tears!! LOL! She was a nibblicious girl who I always thought looked like a real live Precious Moments doll with her big eyes & squishy cheeks. Always the best of manners even when I met her back at the age of 2. I have no memories of her going thru the terribles or sassies. Just beautiful, just smiles. A few years after her Uncle Ben & I got married she became my childrens cousin & she has loved them & played with them. My lovies absolutely adore her & are always excited to see her & be with her. She's gotten taller over the years. Of course everyone is taller than me! But I think I refused to really notice that she wasn't just getting taller. Miss A was growing up. I have a plethora of beautiful shots of her from yesterday. It was a sweltering day & she rocked outfit changes, heels & lots of walking. I chose this image because this section of photographing was when it really hit me that these are her senior pics & I started to get choked up. I spent 20 minutes melting up in my barn loft looking for the 1st pic I ever took of her, but couldn't find it. I think God wanted to pick this one because she was my flower girl & here she is still beautiful inside & out with flowers again. The only think keeping me from being a hot mess of tears typing this is my excitement for her future because I know it will continue being beautiful & full of love just like her. Love you Miss A! xoxoxoxo

The W Lovies
I was honored last year to do 1 year portraits for the beautiful Miss S. I was extra honored to do portraits again for her & all her very handsome brothers. It was a treat to see the dynamic of these siblings. Miss S may be the tiniest, but she is tough & is the boss. Which seems to work out because she has all of these lil men wrapped around her fingers. They not only absolutely adore her, but for brothers - they needed no cue from me to wrap their arms around each other for a shot. I have lots of gorgeous images of them from this session & it's always hard to pick 1 sneak peek. I picked one that showed how beautiful they are inside & out. Look at how close they are standing next to each other & their heads together. Just melts my heart & my lens. They have some very blessed parents. Thank you W Family for a super fun morning!
